Release News 0.1.2：
First off thank you to everyone that has shown interest in Bodhi thus far, we have had over 1,500 direct downloads in the first week of our release. We are working on getting our forums online within the next week so we can easily get feedback and bug reports from everyone. For the time being please feel free to email any issues you encounter to (Jeff at BodhiLinux dot com), drop by our IRC channel (#bodhi on Freenode) or drop a comment on our facebook page.
Today we are happy to announce our third public alpha release of Bodhi Linux: 0.1.2 The changes to this version include:
Added a "bodhi" profile (to easily return to default e17 layout)
Removed halevt and added the ntfs-config package which resolves mounting issue with removeable media
Added automount command and now have all internal media mount on system start
Added few extra packages so apturl works
Added getdeb.net gpg key
Replaced Ubuntu Logos with Bodhi Logos
Reverted to more stable Ubuntu 10.04 Ubiquity installer
Updated enlightenment to latest SVN build
0.1.2 as all versions previous is both a live CD and an installable disc. There is no current target release date for 0.1.3, but expect it sometime in December after bug reports have come in for the 0.1.2 disc.
One question I have received from several people is where the installer is located for Bodhi, you can find it in the menu under Settings->All->System->Install Bodhi Linux
Finally, I'd just like to remind everyone to check the repository (apt-get update && apt-get upgrade) a few times a week as I will be pushing out Enlightenment updates once or twice a week (The Enlightenment project averages close to 1000 SVN commits a month). Also added with today’s updates are the following packages that add Enlightenment modules:
tiling
ecomorph (and ecomorph-core)
calendar
weather
To use these extra modules simply apt-get them and then load them from your Enlightenment module load menu.
